Maybe it's fine if you sleep a straight 6-8 hours (which I don't), but if you sleep in chunks of 3-4 hours at a time, then get up, go back to bed, etc., forget about sleep tracking. The Charge 5 sleep tracking is similarly awful, if you have irregular sleep patterns. The only good thing about it is the battery life, which makes sense because it's mostly just sitting there drooling on itself all day. The GPS tracking (for cycling at least) is also terrible, all over the place. It doesn't accurately record time to sleep/time to wake and also doesn't track, say, afternoon naps at all. Sleep tracking on the Garmin is terrible. The Garmin and Fitbit are sitting in the drawer. I have the GW4, Garmin Venu 2, and a Fitbit Charge 5.
